HMD Global has launched the Nokia 2.3 Android One smartphone in India. The company’s latest budget phone is the successor of the Nokia 2.2. The key features of the phone include a 6.2-inch HD+ screen, MediaTek Helio A22 processor with 2GB RAM, Android 9 Pie with 2 years of Android and 3 years of security updates, 13-megapixel rear camera with a secondary 2-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel selfie camera, and a 4000mAh battery.

The new Nokia 2.3 sports a 6.2-inch HD+(720 x 1520 pixels) 19:9 aspect ratio display. It features 3D nano-textured cover and solid aluminum body. The device also comes with a dedicated Google Assistant button.
The phone is powered by Quad-Core MediaTek Helio A22 12nm processor with IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU. It packs 2GB RAM and 32GB storage that is expandable up to 512GB with microSD.
The smartphone currently runs on Android 9 Pie but it is upgradable to Android 10. It also comes with 2 years of Android and 3 years of security updates promise.
In the camera department, it sports a 13MP primary rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 2MP secondary camera for Portrait Mode. The rear camera has AI low-light, HDR, and ‘Recommended Shot’ features. There is a 5MP front camera with f/2.4 aperture that supports Face Unlock. But the phone doesn’t have a fingerprint sensor.
Connectivity options are triple card slots, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, micro USB, and 3.5 mm headphone jack. The device packs a 4000mAh battery that promises 2 days of battery life.
The handset comes in Cyan Green, Sand, and Charcoal colors. Its dimensions are 157.69 x 75.41 x 8.68mm and weight is 183g.

The Nokia 2.3 is priced at Rs. 8,199. It will be available from December 27 via nokia.com and authorized retail stores across the country. The company is offering a one-year replacement guarantee covering hardware defects along with 6-month warranty on the accessories.
